The Property and Evidence Unit safeguards and maintains all evidence obtained during criminal investigations, including the storage and disposal of property as mandated by court orders. Furthermore, this unit is responsible for the upkeep of uniforms and accessories for the 260 sworn personnel and is staffed by civilian personnel under the supervision of a sergeant within the Administrative Division of the Beaumont Police Department.
